Description

Stephanie Domet, writer-broadcaster host of CBC Radio’s Mainstreet and Atlantic Airwaves.

Stephanie Domet wrote the first draft of her novel, Homing, while living in Winnipeg and missing Halifax. Specifically, she missed “the smallness and the little houses and my friends. Homing was a way for me to just be in Halifax...” Coincidentally, much of the action in Homing takes place in and around the Spring Garden Road Public Library, a clear instance of place inspiring art. Join Stephanie as she reads from her current writing project and takes us through her writing process. Learn how she balances a busy work life with an active creative life, and hear why the library figures so prominently in her book.
