Description
Consumers look for health information on the Internet more than for any other type of information. In the challenging Google world, libraries work to ensure that consumers have the very best material from accepted sources. How can libraries be sure their users get ‘healthy’ information? This panel will discuss how libraries of all types are working together to bring the very best evidence to consumers throughout the Maritimes. Collaborative efforts between the Atlantic Health Knowledge Partnership, the University Libraries and the Public Libraries have been successful in making the Cochrane Library available to all citizens in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
